Long Island Creative Contracting was hired upon referral and did a phenomenal job of repairing my kitchen, living room and dining room. They dealt directly with the insurance company’s adjuster and fought for getting me 21% more money from the insurance company than what the insurance company was prepared to pay for the repairs. They did hardwood floor replacement and repair, designed and replaced kitchen cabinets and provided skilled carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical work. Their work was exceptional. It was done professionally and very meticulously. Every member of their crew (carpenter, designer, painter, plumber and electrician) was courteous, punctual, and skilled in their craft and the ultimate professional. Recommend them 100%

I was very pleased and happy with John and his crew who completed a new kitchen remodel and laundry room for me. John is very professional and personable. His response time in getting back to me was always immediate, even over the weekends. His crew was polite, friendly, and most of all very talented! The work is gorgeous and I love it! They even watched out for my dogs for me while I was at work all day!! There was never a mess left at the end of their work day and when the job was completed, you would have never known there was a months work of work going on here! The place was spotless! I felt John's pricing was very fair as well. Overall very satisfied and would highly recommend.

Amazing company

I can't say enough good things about LICC. After a freak pipe burst in our kitchen we cold called contractors and LICC was one we interviewed. We ended up going with LICC bc they clearly had experience with damage, rebuilding and dealing with insurance claims. Our loss effected our kitchen, laundry room and several bedrooms. LICC not only repaired our damage but dealt with the insurance company directly along the way. We worked collaboratively and chose everything we wanted. John, the owner, was present every morning reviewing work and delegating to his workers. They had the key to our house and by the end of it I had no issue with them coming and going as they pleased. Their work was clean. They cleaned up every day. They didn't leave stuff laying around ever. The attention to detail was remarkable. John was patient with all of my questions and accommodated everything I wanted. He explained everything thoroughly. I ALWAYS knew I was in good hands with John and his workers. His main guy, rich, was a pleasure to have around the house. They were unbelievable to my son who was fascinated by them (4 y/o) and even got him a birthday present as they were working on his birthday in the house. I will never hire any other company to do any work in this house but them. I never had to remind them of details. They were on top of everything. Basement and kitchen Remodel

We did extensive renovation to kitchen and added basement bedroom and a number of other improvements. Even though I was not local to keep track of projects, the results are great and they were very responsive to our needs. All completed in a timely fashion with high quality.

John Petsco and his fabulous team at Long Island Creative Contracting (LICC) completed an almost gut renovation of the interior of our new home (3,400 SF plus 1,400 SF finished basement). The project included a completely redesigned kitchen and master bath, a more open plan living area, replacement of our main living room wall with glass including 10 foot high doors that open 16 feet wide, a brand new large deck including a glass roofed patio that can be automatically screened in, stainless cable stairs, additional and enlarged windows, new molding, baseboard and doors (interior and exterior), paneling, redesigned fireplace, custom closets, painting, floor refinishing and a WHOLE lot more. Despite the magnitude of the project, LICC finished the majority of the work in 5 months so we were able to move back in in time for Memorial Day while they worked through the summer to finish the custom outdoor work. As most people do, we interviewed several contractors before choosing John. What sold us was his creative vision and ability to instantly tackle a couple of specific problem areas that the other bidding contractors and even architects were not able to. Over time, this vision became known as "magic" because every time a challenge presented itself, John would mull it over and come back a few hours later with the perfect solution. A second selling point was his extremely detailed proposal that broke out all the costs. There were several change orders along the way but those stemmed from modifications to the initial proposal or selection of more expensive materials. As people invariably do, I spent more than I initially planned to but not due to upcharges. John was actually pretty good at keeping me in check when he felt that additional spending would not add value. Unlike many of my friends' experiences during renovations, it was a real pleasure working with John and his team. We worked on the design together and he always let me know if something wouldn't fit with the overall scheme. Similarly, he listened well and was very patient. If I wanted something different than his initial suggestion, he researched it and made it happen. His team, led by his foreman Rich Eberhardt, worked tirelessly, including many weekends and whenever there were setbacks or delays, they took it in stride. Rich's attention to detail mirrored John's and they never considered anything complete until it was perfect and I was happy with it. Given the scope of the renovation, there were various subs and they were all closely supervised by John and Rich. The backbone of the operation, Jessica Nutter, John's office manager, is a master of organisation. In addition to being able to track almost anything down, she worked very efficiently with the town and got all our permits and inspections without delay. A year and a half ago my daughter bought a new home with basement apartment. It needed a new bathroom. I hired Joe Petsco of LICC because i wanted someone local. The bathroom he installed for me was actually more than 5 stars. Every step of the way was professional. My husband was in construction for 60 years and could not have done a better job. I would use this company for any new work i need. The bathroom is beautiful . I travel back and forth from Florida and he worked with me every step of the way. The price was reasonable for all the work he had to do. I will also add that this is the best shower that i have ever had. The space was small but he was able to meet all my needs and make it look like a decorators dream. Nick A
